I got this kayak last summer mainly for duck hunting. It is wide and stable enough that my 5’9” 230lbs frame can stand and cast in. I didn’t care for the seat but that may just take some getting used to. I find the seat falls down when I get into the kayak. Other than that it tracks great and is tough as nails. I have taken it over a small waterfall with no issues and through a side outlet that had trees all through it. I think side handles would be great for it.

First of all I love my Vapor 12 . What I did do is made a bulkhead for the front out of 1/4 underflooring then foamed it in with Great Stuff . I put a hatch in so I have access to both sides . so now I have a big dry storage and a lot of buoyancy , I still have my cardboard template

I love mine from hunting to fishing it is great for all aspects. Stability it great for fly fishing and i can fire a shotgun out of it without issue
